Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Nairobi
You will be welcomed by our professional driver who will at the same time be your tour guide who will brief you on the few things that will happen during your trip. You will then transfer to the Hotel to take a break as you rest from the long flight. Dinner and overnight in Nairobi.
Day 2: Nairobi to Aberdare National Park
After your breakfast at the lodge / Hotel, you will depart and heat out of Nairobi through the historical Nyeri Town. You will then have a lunch enroute as you approach Aberdare National Park through the thick vegetation to have a glimpse at the various wildlife species. The Hotel view will give you a high chance to watch the animals by just standing on your balcony and as you drive towards the Hotel. Our team will ensure that you’re close to the best game viewing spots. Overnight and night at the lodge.
Day 3: Aberdare to Samburu Game Reserve
After the morning breakfast at the lodge/ Hotel, you will head northwards towards Sambura Game reserve arriving in lunch hours, you will launch an afternoon game drive to catch up with wildlife species like the Grevy’s zebra, the Blue necked Somali ostrich, and giraffes among others. You will then return to the lodge to relax, have dinner and night stay.
Day 4: Full day in Samburu
You will have a full day at Sumburu game reserve as you explore the diverse nature of abundant flora and fauna. Look out for species like the African leopard, cheetah, lions, warthogs, olive baboons, rhinos, Grant’s gazelle and waterbucks among others. You will break of for lunch and then launch an afternoon game drive to watch some of the species you will have missed in the morning hours. Several bird species will be seen in this park and any keen birder will have a special glimpse at the unique species like the bee eaters, grey headed kingfisher, palm nut vulture, yellow billed hornbill, tawny eagle, and sun birds among others. You will return to the lodge to relax, have dinner and spend the night there.
Day 5: Samburu Game Reserve to Masai Mara
After the morning breakfast at the lodge, you will depart Samburu and head to Masai Mara the home of Kenya’s most wildlife species. You will arrive in the later afternoon and spend the evening at leisure. You will have lunch, dinner later and overnight.
Day 6: Full day at Masai Mara Game reserve
Masai Mara is best known for the annual wildebeest migration and for the wide variety of wildlife species that are so abundant. You will have a morning and afternoon game drive as you catchup with the big 5 and other animals like the zebras, Giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, lions, rhinos, elands, warthogs, wildebeests, baboons and hyenas among others.
Day 7: Masai Mara & optional cultural excursion
after breakfast at the lodge, you will have a wonderful morning in a game drive at Masai Mara to catch up with animals you may have missed the previous day, you will then proceed to the selected spots by the guide to watch your favorite animals. You will have a lunch break and head to a Masai village to catch up with the local people and the Kenya.
Day 8: Nairobi for departure
After the morning breakfast at the lodge, you will drive of to Nairobi to organize for departure.
