Day 1: Pick up & transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your driver guide representing African Apes Tours will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe and brief you on what to expect on this 3 Days trip. Thereafter, you will leave Kampala/Entebbe and embark on 6 hours rive to Queen Elizabeth located in south western Uganda. Have a brief stop at Uganda equator for photography and refreshment. You will also have various stopovers to buy roadside foods especially muchoma and roasted maize not forgetting fresh fruits right from the garden. You may have an evening game drive in the park to see animals feeding before retiring for night rests.
Day 2: Game viewing & boat cruise
This whole day is for enjoying all beauties of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will start this day with an early morning game drive to see numerous wild animals browsing, grazing and hunting in open savannahs. Expect to see numerous wild animals such as Uganda kobs, waterbucks, Lions, Buffalos, Hippos, Elephants. Bushbucks, Elands and Topis among others. Drive to Ishasha sector to see the famous tree-climbing lions seen resting lazily in the acacia and fig trees. You can also drive to any of the carter lakes in Queen Elizabeth National Park especially Lake Katwe for salt mining and Lake Munyanyange famous for flamingoes. In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise at Kazinga channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The banks of Kazinga channel shelter numerous birds such as Hammerkops, Ibises, African kingfisher, African fish eagle, Yellow billed stork, White egrets, Black kite, Pelicans, Long tailed Cormorants, Saddle billed stork and African morning dove among others. You will also see many water animals such as crocodiles, hippos and monitor lizards sunbathing in the banks of Kazinga channel. The cruise also offers you great views of fishing villages near the park.
Day 3: Departure
Enjoy your morning sleep and wakeup to have a relaxed breakfast at your lodge. You can an optional game drive to see those animals you missed the previous day. Check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala/Entebbe
